Photo exhibition
Descrizione
The Osteria da Filo, in Campo San Giacomo dell'Orio - Venice, will host from September 9 to October 13, the photography exhibition, "Genoa Rough Poetry", Diletta Paola Nicosia and Morning Ciafardo.
The esposzione wants to be the declaration of love of two young photographers to their city, Genoa: a bit 'closed and sometimes hostile, perhaps, but fascinating, hypnotic and unique. With the project "Genova, rough poetry" Diletta Paola Nicosia and Mattia Ciafardo want to create an exhibition inspired by a poem dedicated to Genoa from Paul Valéry (1871-1945). The French writer and poet, Genoese mother was right in Genoa, "Vertigo climbs pierced From the north", when, one night I dedicate the poem Au Hasard et au crayon. The poet writes: "You Walking In The teeming life of these Profound Paths as you would enter the sea, in the black of a strangely populated ocean."
The idea of Diletta Paola Nicosia and Mattia Ciafardo springs precisely from these verses: the "dark paths" are the narrow streets of Genoa, and through their works the young photographers intend to restore the sense of loss that can be felt by walking, on time accompanied by the fascination that these paths exercising on anyone to follow them.
Diletta Paola Nicosia has chosen to interpret this maze with shots that focus on the play of light and forms created by the sun filtering through the ancient buildings, and that, as a thread of Ariadne, ride in this magnetic maze.
The works of Mattia Ciafardo instead focus on the human presence, and how blurry pervaded by an instinct to merge with their city. The two photographers would like to exhibit their work in an exhibition, to be organized at the gallery, located inside the Doge's Palace
