Save the date
Description
A trip in the thought of Gillian Hobart, the creator of anti-method Method which proposes the dance movement as a humanistic practice in favor of the inner world, to bring out the beauty. Lorella Barlaam conducts a dialogue for three voices speaking to us of the dance, today, as an art open to all, revealing the authenticity of the thought of a real teacher.
In the text, also involved three leading voices to contribute to this special dialogue: Alessandro Pontremoli (dance scholar and professor at the University of Turin, DAMS), Albert (dance critic and professor at the National Academy of Dance in Rome) and Amedeo Amodio (dancer and renowned choreographer).
The book tells the story of Hobart® Method, an educational practice aimed at forming the person into your mind-body and in its many expressive and communicative possibilities. A research based on the process of listening, care, appreciation of themselves on the basis of the educational power of dance movement. The method, by fostering the integration with one's inner self and with others, helps to create more active individuals, more conscious and creative individuals with a better self-image. It is this feature that makes it innovative, viable and in tune with the needs of our times.
The presentation of the book is an opportunity for dialogue, circulation and exchange of ideas, because it proposes dance as another way of making culture to support the dignity of differently skilled or skilled person.
