Palazzo Mocenigo, the Museum of Costume and perfume

We visit together this beautiful building where we will discover the history of the noble Mocenigo family, but above all have fun immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of the eighteenth century through the clothes and scents of the time.
In the five rooms dedicated to the perfume, perfectly integrated into the exhibition suggestions around the museum, multimedia and sensory experiences are alternated in an unprecedented process of information, emotion, depth. A video explains the role of Venice in the history of perfume, a room evokes the laboratory of a sixteenth-century perfumer (muschiere). They are exposed and are illustrated raw materials and processes, while an olfactory map describes the "Vie Spice" traveled by ancient Venetians.
Finally, the visit ends with a chance to experience, through some olfactory stations, the great "olfactory families" from which come all the scents.
