From November 7 to 11 back to Ca 'Foscari the Russian Cinema festival "Ruskino Ca' Foscari", now in its seventh edition. The Festival opens at 16 hours of Monday, November 7 in Hall Silvio Trentin, Ca 'Dolfin, with the screening of the feature film "Love" (2014) by Anna Melikjan.

The initiative is promoted by the Management of the Moscow International Programs and Studies Center on the Arts of Russia - CSAR, in collaboration with the Ministries of Culture and Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Russian Foundation of Culture, the City of Venice and the 'Association "Venezia-Russia".

On 8 and 9 November the screenings will take place in CFZ - Ca 'Foscari Rafts / Cultural Flow Zone: Tuesday, November 8 at 16: "Bird" (2016), debut film by the young director Ksenija Baskakova. Next, at 18, again at CFZ, will open the exhibition "BETWEEN CINEMA AND ART" POSTERS FROM THE MOTION PICTURE COLLECTION OF STUDIES M. Gorky, which presents a selection of movie posters reproductions from the collections of the firm. The exhibition is free admission and open to the public until Sunday, November 27, with Monday-Friday 10-22 hours; Saturday 10-19; Sunday 15-22.

After the success of the previous two editions (2014 and 2015), also this year the competition for the best in Italian subtitling of Russian films of recent production, designed for students to Ca 'Foscari. Wednesday, November 9 will be named the winners who competed with films by two young directors, winners of the 35th International Student Festival Pan-Russian State University of Cinematography: Vladlena Sandu, with the film "Kira" and Andrej Annensky, with " sunset ".

Thursday, November 10, the appointment is at the Cinema Rossini at 20 with "The Green carriage" Oleg Asadulin. Rounding out the festival, Friday, November 11, there will be the eminent Russian film director Stanislav Govorukhin "End of good times."
