Description
The Venice Open Stage is presented to students of IUAV and does so in a completely new and ... addictive.
The live performance is one of the focal points of this project so it is with the accompaniment of friends Waterproof that we want to present.
11 shows, 9 schools, 3,400 spectators, 91 actors, 19 volunteers, 16 organizers.
These total numbers of four editions of Venice Open Stage.
In 2017 we want the project to grow again. Want to join us?
Our work starts now and I'll tell you on December 1 from 19:30 hours to the cloister Tolentini.
Who are the Waterproof?
The didgeridoo, drums and bass are the backbone of Waterproof: sequencers, samplers and live electronics are top frame.
The music is completely improvised, which is why there is an identical gig to another.
The effect is of an extraordinary rhythmic machine: the exchange of energy between audience and musicians is at the core of their concept of live music!
