TESTS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC IN THE 24 DAYS, 25 and 26 November

After the triumph of the concert last October directed by Maestro Ezio Bosso, l 'Orchestra Filarmonica della Fenice is preparing to close the concert season 2016, the Grand Venetian Theatre, with live performances and accompanied by piano by Wayne Marshall on George notes Gershwin and Leonard Bernstein. The concert will be dedicated to the memory of Professor Umberto Veronesi, first president Honorary Philharmonic Orchestra since 2007 and passed away last night in Milan.

On top of the message launched "from Bosso master open" Philharmonic Orchestra theaters decided to share with the public the steps of preparing the concert on November 27 that provides for the execution of a program rich in emotions and surprises. Program that will open with An American in Paris by George Gershwin and Rhapsody in Blue, a song that is not performed on the stage of the Phoenix for 25 years, and will close with the Overture from Candide and Symphonic Dances taken from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein .

"It was an intense and demanding season that leaves us with a load baggage of emotions and successes abroad - declares Alessandro Cappelletto, artistic director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Phoenix - After the experience with Bosso Master, we decided to re-open our public evidence to share this emotional baggage, which is unfortunately accompanied by the sympathy for the death of Professor Veronesi, our honorary president. He will devote, in fact, the concert conducted by Wayne Marshall, a champion of the music, as well as the professor was of science ".

WAYNE MARSHALL
conductor, pianist and organist Wayne Marshall is one of the most versatile musicians and whimsical today. Born near Manchester, where he started their studies then continued in London and Vienna, he was appreciated especially early in his career as an organist. He has performed with all the major British orchestras, as well as several giants of the world. In 1998 he debuted in Italy as director at La Fenice in Venice. It is a great musical artist, genre to which increasing attention devoted: he conducted several times West Side Story, and in 2000 he made his debut in Vienna with Wonderful Town, more and Bernstein, who then revived in 2007 at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia Rome with an incredible success with audiences and critics.

The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Phoenix, founded in 2010, is the association of the musicians of the "Gran Teatro La Fenice." Composed of about 90 stable elements, the Orchestra has the aim of contributing to the spread of symphonic music in the audience and support young talent. Collaborations with Conductors and world-renowned soloists who performed within the large symphonic seasons of the Teatro La Fenice are the priceless heritage of musical experiences Orchestra, which means starting from these and continue to present itself to the national and international public as in purely symphonic.

TICKETS
The ticket price goes from 15 € to 70 €. You can subscribe for subscriptions to all concerts (from 175 € to 350 €) or a choice of 3 concerts (from € 87.50 to € 175). Reductions are offered at 10 € for the university students, musical high schools, conservatories, academies of fine arts, IUAV.
