Across Chinese Cities - China House Vision
Across Chinese Cities is an international program organized and sponsored by the Beijing Design Week (BJDW), opened on the occasion of the 14. International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia (2014). The exhibition, which is part of this ongoing series of events, is curated by Beatrice Leanza (BJDW) and Michele Brunello (Dontstop Architecture) and was created by the Vision House project: a pan-Asian platform of multidisciplinary research and development created in 2013 by the designer Kenya Hara for Japan. House Vision is a research on "the future applied" domestic internal, performed by some teams consisting of several groups and from architectural firms and leading companies operating in the sector in several areas. Across Chinese Cities - China House Vision presents for the first time the content that until now were produced by this research together with a team of architects and resident experts in China. The exhibition is the change in the role and environment in the practice of architecture in contemporary China and highlights the conceptual phenomena and search paths that are the basis of the 14 architectural proposals. The works are divided into five thematic groups (The Hybrid Unit, dematerialized Space Frontiers Rural, Community and Home Plus Kitchen) and are presented through an integrated system of materials, digital and paper files, designed to guide the use of the visitor in a series interactive landscapes.

Across Chinese Cities - House Vision features for the first time the body of research so far produced with a team of China-based architects and experts. It addresses the changing role of habitat and architecture practices in China today by rendering manifest the contextual phenomena and research trajectories behind 14 architectural proposals. Grouped into five thematic clusters (The Hybrid Unit, dematerialized Space Frontiers Rural, Community and Home Plus Kitchen) they are presented by way of an integrated system of material, digital archives and documentation devised to guide visitors' fruition in a series of interactional scapes .
