Description
Prize award ceremony "Marino Grimani" for the craftsman restoration and conservation of historic and artistic works.
The award, now in its fourth edition, was established in 2012 for the University Initiative Veneto and the Chamber of Commerce of Venice, with the contribution of the Grimani family.
And 'an award dedicated to excellence in the fields of restoration, to value those who daily devote themselves to the preservation of the artistic and cultural heritage of Venice: personalities in the field of the high specialized craft that are custodians of essential skills for survival in productivity in our city.
The Scientific Commission of the "Grimani Award" in 2016 consists of the President, the architect Alberto Ongaro (Proto of Fabrica Ateneo Veneto), two representatives of the University Veneto - Camillo Tonini, Secretary of the Prize, and Franco Pianon - and two representatives Chamber of Commerce of Venice - Adriano Rizzi and Martin Siro.
The Grimani Award for restoration craftsman and and the preservation of historic and artistic works - entitled to the extraordinary figure of Marino Grimani who led for years the organization Chamber Venetian - held every two years, alternating with the prize cake for architectural restoration.
