"Beyond the borders"
Meeting between the author Bruno Di Marino and the artist Pierre Coulibeuf
On the occasion of his book Beyond the edges of the screen. Conversation with the masters of audiovisual experimentation (published by Manifestolibri), Bruno Marino Coulibeuf conversing with Pierre, one of the artists-filmmakers interviewed in the book (which contains conversations with Snow, Mekas, Anger, Raysse, AES + F, Neshat, Kubelka, purple, Gioli, Sambin, Plessi and others). In addition to the work of Coulibeuf, the discussion will address various topics: trade between moving images and visual arts, the relationship between narration and experimentation, as well as films and multi-channel video installation.
Afterwards will screen two films Coulibeuf: the short film The Panic Monkey (28'40 ''), in preview, the artist has conceived for the Icelandic dancer and choreographer Erna Ómarsdóttir, and the feature film Doctor Fabre Will Cure You ( 60'11 ''), starring the Flemish artist and performer Jan Fabre.
