Listen to music, see music, tell the music. Ernesto Assante and Gino Castaldo, music critics of the newspaper "La Repubblica," have followed the musical chronicles the last four decades. In Lessons of Rock investigate themes and characters in rock history, reconstructing stories, telling discs, trivia, anecdotes and texts, to guide the audience in listening to works that are part of the history of music, but also the lives of us all. Ernesto Assante collaborates with "La Repubblica" and "L'Espresso". He wrote music criticism books. He has collaborated in more than thirty years of its activities with numerous weekly and monthly Italian and foreign, including "Period", "L'Espresso", "Rolling Stone". From 2003 to 2009 he taught "Theory and Technique of New Media" and then "Analysis of musical languages", the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the University La Sapienza in Rome. It was one of the most famous voices of the radio program "RaiStereoNotte".

Gino Castaldo deals with music critics, music dissemination and run radio.
