Veni, Vidi: Sequences of Vital Energy

The international exhibition of the artist Wojciech Cieśniewski is titled “Sequence of vital energy” and will be opened on Saturday 14th April 2018 at 6 pm at “Laboratorium Venezia” [Calle de Mezo 1592, Campo San Giacomo dell’Orio, Venice]. It will be possible to visit the show every day of the week for one month. It is a personal exhibition organized by Laboratorium Venezia in collaboration with Orlowo Foundation as part of the project “La Via dell’Ambra “.

The artistic language of Professor Wojciech Cieśniewski, theacher of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, is one of the vital sequences of the path that connects historically and unites Venice to Poland through cultural exchange, a productive exchange that emerge even today: Wojciech Cieśniewski feels the land of his infancy, a wounded and traumatized land from which he manages to draw the vital energy of this culture made of cities, castles, cathedrals linked together by the International Style of the Romanesque-Gothic and which still today are a testimony of western culture.

From his childhood his feeling have led him to question the origin of the “forma urbis” to transmit life energy intrinsic to the communion between beings human expressed in love for art.

Wojciech Cieśniewski is the witness of the discomfort of a land and uses his existence to seek, affirm and pass on the identity of the future of man’s community.
His exhibition at the Laboratorium-Venezia is a useful platform in which to promote his great production and the meaning of his work.
