Description
Ca 'Foscari Tour takes part in the European Heritage Days in 2016 with guided tours at Palazzo Giustiniani of Bishops late Gothic building overlooking the Grand Canal, home of the University Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
The route will begin in the courtyard of the building where it dominates the scale it restored by Lady Helen D'Abernon and will lead to the discovery of the "Shrine of the fallen in war and in the resistance" of Napoleone Martinuzzi and other hidden jewels of the building. The history of the building and the characters who inhabited it intertwine with that of the University right here that saw the birth of the Teatro Ca 'Foscari.
The European Heritage Days are an event sponsored by the Council of Europe and the European Commission with the aim to strengthen and promote dialogue and exchanges in the cultural field between European nations. The MiBACT acceding every year.

Ticket: 2 euro (special price)
Duration: about 30 40 minutes /
How to participate:
- Book your place by 23 September at 12 hours, sending an email to cafoscaritour@unive.it with the subject "GEP 2016", specifying the selected session and the number of participants.
(reservations required, max 25 persons per shift)
- Purchases the day of the event ticket at the booth of Ca 'Foscari Tour (ground floor of Ca' Foscari) ten minutes prior to the visit
